For my summative I will be creating a “fake” site of the popular dating site Lavalife. Lavalife began as a basement operation in 1987 by two entrepreneurs, David Chamandy and Ed Lum. This web based version of a dating service was developed when the owners of Lavalife bought out another dating site formerly known as Webpersonals. 
              Lavalife offers singles anytime, anywhere connections that make single life a positive, fulfilling and self-esteem building experience through relationship opportunities, social interaction and a like-minded community of ideas and information.
              In this fake website I will be attempting to recreate the website from scratch. In order to do so, I will be taking pictures of individuals, creating the background as well as rewriting anything on the site and making it my own but still as similar to the original as possible. In order to “poke fun” at Lavalife, I suppose I will have to do some more research on the site itself… wish me luck! (:
